Hi Yes, as stated new SSD new Install of everything (thats been the issue windows 10 office 365 etc etc, I am having to mess with setting to stop the irritating "extra features we have made for you" !!! It was a simple check box !!! on the page as it opened in DC But now I am stuck, since a update, its reset back to this stupid action,stated above, of DC stopping me converting files to due to "files being open" which DC is opening!! Online help is no help, at all I now get a opening screen of recent etc & the check box to stop the files opening has gone, so becoming rather frustrated regards

Hello Apologies for the long title As the title how can i "Stop all the separate files being opened when converting files to one PDF" I recently suffered a SSD failure, so had to reinstall all the programs back in etc etc. One og the issues i am having with Adobe (there are many) Is I create many PDF documents that use different constituent files, such as Word, Excel, and existing PDF files, to name some. Prior to the SSD failure the Adobe DC (which i find a disappointment to how it was previously but that's another argument) When creating the PDF file from multiple files, it would work away converting & combining the files, quite happily then open the finished file to review. Now it opens up every file, in its appropriate program, then I get the error message cannot continue as "xxx" is open. This is to say more than irritating, as i mentioned this never happened before, one hopes its a simple fix. any assistance / suggestions, would be greatly appreciated Regards Brian JW

Hello I am having the same issues and more Im simply using "open with" for a jpg, or i open a file from in PS the same always happens, this works 80% of the time but then i get parsing & ICC error messages, and with jpegs ive opened before Thanks for your message above but not all of us who use PS are tech geeks, i dont understand a word of that Regards

Im using PS2018 with Win 10 I have to keep uninstalling, and re installing, and rolling back updates all the time I cannot open jpgs, i get parsing, ICC errors, I have spent nearly 5 hours with our tech support, & googling everything i try does not work What to do?????

Well as i though utter crap i installed the update, god why didnt i listen to myself Updates are OFF and staying of and going back to iX the if i could pay to punch the a r se that came up with this rubbih I would happily pay Developers, THINK, ABOUT, LISTEN TO, PRODUCE FOR THE USERS, not your little circle of fanzees oh look how much code weve written oh look it does this,, great but its screwed everythign else up, came back the reply!!! I think you know the answer they could not give a SH 1 T, about users when is that staff post from? on page 1, 2015 says it all As someone said stop making software act if we are on a phone, it does not work Updates, progress, round spherical objects - do i say!!!

Indeed, we went to office 365, office 2016, win 10 all in one go.......safe to say its been err cough ermmmm eventful, we are a first tier vendor to Amazon, and Amazons Vendor Central, is not compatible with any of it..... i make more progress using my old one from home on win7 & office 2012. I have never fogiven MS for finishing XP, it worked was solid and functional, now its all this OOOHH lets call them apps, connect with all the spotty ance infested oiks around the world pouting lips taking selfie types. Yep I'm an old fart and a angry rock bassist, this me being polite 🙂 pmsl Cheers 🙂

Hi Having had a new laptop with SSD etc running on Win 10 offie 365, office 2016, ive been using PS happily since september on this current laptop. Now I get the insufficient RAM, the Inters message, our retained IT company, spent 2 hours trying everything to correct it, I had tried also here in the forum/s All the suggested work throughs on th einternet not one has worked. Aparently this issue has been around for along time with no real resolution. We have just tried uninstalling etc, disk clean ups etc all with no resolution,im fankly at the point of chucking the laptop at the wall as no one seems to be able to throw any light on the issue yet my old laptop on win 7 and PS 2006 runs great no issues, frankly i cant work because this latest "suprise" Cheers a very frustrated Brian

Adobe, heres an idea go back to Adobe 8 and dump the last half dozen updates ive rolled back to 8 without updates from the original 8, oh my god i have seen the light I have had to uninstall DC, it screws with outlook it stops it working, it, does spontaneous weird things with previous PDF documents its utterly stupid none functional. I lost work due to this rubbish Now I have got rid of creative cloud oh my god top messing about with thing that work, even bloody saving a document is a pain, why the folder suggestions and that stupid screen I have now uninstalled PS and same again ive gone back to an old version that works....Adobe take note WORKS, My advice uninstall DC dump it never use it go to the original adobe 8 do not do any updates and you will find it works fine with no conflicts with other programs. the creative cloud again thats a pain it keep popping up and slowing my machine & interfering with everything else, i will be asking the company to cancel that one for a start marks out of 10 -10
